Mr. Faouri serves as the CEO of O2 Global Energy, a key player in the renewable energy developments in the Middle East and Africa. Under his leadership, O2 Global Energy has expanded its footprint into UAE, KSA, Oman, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, and Egypt. His commitment to renewable energy and green fuel solutions led to the establishment of H2 Global Energy in 2023 focusing on Green Hydrogen and its derivatives in the MEA region. Alongside his corporate responsibilities, Yazan actively contributes to the broader energy sector as a member of the steering committee at Joint Forces for Solar and previously as a director at MESIS working under the aegis of the U.S. Department of Energy. Yazan academic credentials include an MBA in Energy and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria, with a specialization in Green Hydrogen and Ammonia. He also holds a bachelor's degree in political science. Additionally, he is an engaged member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), reflecting the commitment to both business leadership and sustainable energy development.
Mr. Anastas brings over 20 years of global banking and investment experience in the energy transition from some of the world’s most reputable companies including Paribas, SocGen, UBS and Deutsche Bank Asset Management. Wissam serves as a member of the Advisory Board of a US clean technology and sustainable technology SPAC. Since April 2018, Mr. Anastas is serving as one of the Co-founders and Executive Board Members of Amarenco MENA, an Independent Power Producer with a solar focus.
Mr. Anastas also served as Managing Partner of a London based merchant bank DSEL that is focused on high growth real assets in the energy transition. Since 2019, Mr. Anastas also responsible for the investment in EMP, a highly experienced Wind developer focused on Northern Europe within excess of 500MW of pipeline. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2017, Mr. Anastas spent seven years at Deustsche Bank Asset & Wealth Management as Co-Head of the Global Infrastructure Fund amongst other Investment Committee roles in the Private Equity & Private Markets platform.
He was responsible for the fund raise and management of the co-mingled fund deployed in excess of $200mn across the energy and infrastructure space globally. Since 2016, Mr. Anastas sits on the Board of Directors of Energisme, an energy technology SAAS/PAAS business focused on big data and artificial intelligence. Mr. Anastas Holds a MSc in Civil Engineering from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts et Industries de Strasbourg and an MBA from INSEAD and an executive program at Harvard Business School.
Mr. AlHallaj has over a decade of experience in the solar energy and green hydrogen industries, where he worked in the EPC, consultation, manufacturing and development of hundreds of projects around the MENA region with prestigious international companies such as JinkoSolar and Amarenco. On top of his position at H2 Global Energy, Waleed also holds the CCO position at O2 Global Energy, a renewable energy developer in MEA, a director at Cleantech Media, a leading PR and marketing agency in the cleantech sector, and a Managing Partner of ESGCC, a leading ESG reporting and Carbon Indexation firm in the Middle East. Waleed holds a bachelor's degree of mechanical engineering from the University of Jordan and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot Watt University with focus on Finance and Strategy. He is also a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Renewable Energy Professional (REP), Business Energy Professional (BEP), and Projects Management Professional (PMP). He was selected as the Young Energy Professional of the Year 2019 in the Middle East by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) in the US and one of Forty and Forty in 2023 by SolarQuarter Magazine.
Wijnand is a non-executive Director of Brenntag SE. He chairs the Transformation Committee and is a member of Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Wijnand was the CEO of Deutsche Annington SE/Vonovia SE from 2007 to 2012 and prepared the firm for its successful IPO, negotiated the successful GRAND refinancing and modernised the firm during his tenure. Prior to that, he was 22 years at BP PLC in several senior positions in Petrochemicals, Gas, Optimisation & Trading.

Johan is an expert in the renewables development, financing and technology (offshore / onshore wind, solar, battery, hydropower and hydrogen), Water & Wastewater, Oil & Gas and has assumed functions such as CEO, Chairman, Board of Directors, Business developer and Product Manager. Johan has delivered over 5GW of renewable business, mainly offshore wind.

Laurence has worked for 11 years at Aviva Investors, where she co-led the infrastructure investment team, and grew of the company’s infrastructure debt platform to top 10 in Europe with €4bn AUM invested in 10 countries. Prior to Aviva, Laurence led the development of Fitch’s project finance rating business in Europe, and held senior credit roles in Deutsche Bank, RBS. Laurence holds a Master’s of Management from HEC Paris and the Investment management certificate.
Tania brings over 20 years of senior executive management experience at Siemens, where she was involved in the energy and logistics sectors, most recently serving as Finance Director of Siemens Energy UK / NW Europe.
She had exposure to the entire energy value chain, including technologies like solar, wind, battery storage, hydrogen, geothermal, waste-to-energy and energy demand management. In recent years Tania has built a portfolio of non- executive director roles focused on the energy transition, including on the board of the UK Infrastructure Bank, Thrive Renewables plc, The Private Infra Development Group and Guernsey Electricity.
Tania has a Masters degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Rome.
