This project is at an early stage of development. A technical analysis was proposed to the Tunisian government regarding the development of 180,000 Mtpa of Green Hydrogen in Gabes city. The proposal was accepted by the ministry of Energy, Mines, and Energy Transition (MEMET) and a date for the signature of the official MoU has been set before the end of Q2 2024. The project will target pumping hydrogen into the European network through a pipeline into Europe. An analysis was executed by MEMET for solar and wind resources through the country and a shared infrastructure is being discussed with selected developers.
