AQABA PROJECT, JORDAN
An MoU was signed between a consortium of H2 Global Energy and Amarenco Group with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources on 13th November 2023 to initiate the feasibility analysis for a 1,000,000 Mtpy of green ammonia production. The project is in the final stages of pre-feasibility. A meeting with the ministry was concluded on 6th June 2024 resulting requesting land allocations for the chemical plant in ASEZA (1.3km 2 ), Solar PV Plant (30km 2 ) in Quweira, and Wind Power Plant (625km 2 ) in northern Maan.
