WADI MUSA PROJECT, JORDAN

Hydrogen Peroxide have be to be supplied from a close source to the production facility as its concentration is depleted while stored. There have been a spike in demand having it being a major part of most cleaning and sanitising products after COVID crisis. Jordan Bromine Company (JBC) procures almost 12,000-15,000 Mtpa with expectations of doubling the demand before 2028 due to expected increase of production driven by global demand. The consortium in collaboration with GreenHydro Power have signed an exclusivity LOI with JBC to develop a project that is expected to cover around 70% (10,000 Mtpa) of their demand providing a green product (due to the green Hydrogen element) at high concentration (due to location of production), and a competetive pricing compared to global prices that have averaged of 521$/Mt in the last five years. The project will also provide security of supply due to political and logistics challenges that the region is going through.
