The project targets satisfying basic local demand by Jordanian interested off-takers. The consortium have managed to received letter of interest to off-take the green Ammonia by Jordan Phosphate Company for 100,000 Mtpa and by Arab Potash Company for 50,000 Mtpa. The land was allocated and leased in Gharandal, Aqaba and it contains water wells that satisfy the needs of the project for 30 years. The water quality tests are positive where the consortium managed to acquire water pumping permit. The location is in between both Arab Potash Company and Jordan Phosphate Company with access to the transportation methodology between them. The project satisfy all requirements to produce the green hydrogen and ammonia at competitive technical and financial terms satisfying 25% of the total local demand in Jordan.
